Welcome to Mazu Medicine! Frisel Lou is a licensed practitioner of acupuncture in California. She specializes in acupuncture, herbal treatments, and chinese massage (TuiNa). She graduated from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz with additional training in China. Chinese medicine (TCM) is a practice of thousands of years, addressing issues of pain, digestion, thyroid problems, fatigue, headaches, women's issues and much more. TCM can be especially effective with prolonged illness as it is whole-body based as opposed to symptom-based only (as in Western medicine). TCM for her clients is also about whole body wellness, prevention, and maintenance.
