The Biddle Physical Ability Test is 11 events that must be passed in 9 min. 34 sec. or less.<br />Candidates are required to wear test equipment (structural turnout coat & gloves, firefighting helmet). <br /><br />Due to COVID-19 issues, candidates are screened & waivers submitted. PLEASE GO TO riohondofire.com (Biddle Test) to print waivers (prior to testing). A facial mask must be worn except during test. If you've been exposed to COVID or have a temperature, STAY HOME!<br /><br />Test candidates PLEASE attempt to BORROW/UTILIZE your own TEST EQUIPMENT. Rio Hondo College Fire Academy will provide candidates with used test equipment, if needed.<br /><br />Park your car on Greenstone Ave. Please bring facial mask(s), photo ID, workout clothing, utility gloves, & water.<br /><br />Pre-screening & registration starts @ 6:30 AM;don't be late!(1 PM test may be added based on demand; arrive prior to 12:30 PM to pre-screen/register). Candidates may take test once a day. <br /><br />Cost: $40 cash or check only; checks paid to "Rio Hondo College"

Course was well maintained and instructions were clear. Only complaint I have is that my proctor didn't say anything about my time until the bottle carry. So, up until that time I thought I was doing well. I also wasn't shown my time at the end and I thought that was standard. My 51yr old body missed it by 4 seconds....was frustrated.

I had a 7:11 time on a practice Biddle earlier in the week.
