I brought my rescue dog to Sam after watching Sam in action on YouTube. I have no idea if my dog had previously been groomed so I chose a tidy up. The result in just 30 minutes was fantastic. My nervous dog had no issues thanks to Sam's wonderfully calm nature, experience and professionalism. I am very happy to unreservedly recommend Sam. Thank you for a great result. No more tangly feet, legs and ears! A very happy doggo (and owner).

Wonderful dog groomers, always very friendly and calm, I have no hesitation in recommending Sam and her lovely team, very professional and kind.

Sunny has had 10 appointments at Gentle Grooming since December 2015. He was a little apprehensive the first few times and I had to carry him in as I think the sights, smells and sounds were a bit of an overload for him, but he must love being there as he trots in with a wag in his tail now! He's not even that excited when I come and pick him up! I've seen him through the window a few times when passing and he always looks calm and comfortable and well looked after.
I've attempted to give Sunny a DIY job a few times when I've felt confident, but being a cockerpoo his mane is hard to tame! (And being a 'complete' chap, he's got some fiddle bits to contend with!) He always comes back looking fabulous and I couldn't find fault anywhere with the work he's had done (not something I can say for other groomers we tried before we found gentle grooming) and I've decided it's not even worth me trying to do it myself anymore.
I just ask for a short and practical cut due to walking Sunny in muddy places, but he still always comes out looking super handsome with some thoughtful shaping around his face, and if you want something a little more fancy, I've seen other dogs coming through with some very beautiful stylised 'dos!
The salon itself is clean and tidy with neat little individual kennels under the counter with windows for the dogs to look out, the staff are polite and friendly and always very welcoming, and free short stay parking just outside the door is very convenient - as is online appointment booking!
I'd highly recommend Gentle Grooming, and wouldn't take my little boy anywhere else.

My Dog Mollie is 15 years old and she has a few medical conditions, but nothing is to much trouble, Mollie is always pleased to be there. I must say its one of the best dog grooming salons that I have been to. so thank you all very much.

Izzie had bad experiences with a past groomer and had become very nervous and would be sick after the grooming experience due to nerves and stress. Since going to Gentle grooming she is so much happier and although I can't say it is something she will ever look forward to she is much calmer and no longer sick so I can't thank sam and her team enough.

Harvey is always happy going into Sam and her colleagues. He looks and smells amazing following his grooming session...if only he didn't love fox poo so much!!! Many thanks Sam and crew, you always do a great job.
