The Biddle Physical Ability Test is 11 events that must be passed in 9 min. 34 sec. or less. Candidates are required to wear test equipment (structural turnout coat & gloves, firefighting helmet). Due to COVID-19 issues, candidates are screened & waivers submitted. PLEASE GO TO riohondofire.com (Biddle Test) to print waivers (prior to testing). A facial mask must be worn except during test. If you've been exposed to COVID or have a temperature, STAY HOME! Test candidates PLEASE attempt to BORROW/UTILIZE your own TEST EQUIPMENT. Rio Hondo College Fire Academy will provide candidates with used test equipment, if needed. Park your car on Greenstone Ave. Please bring facial mask(s), photo ID, workout clothing, utility gloves, & water. Pre-screening & registration starts @ 6:30 AM;don't be late!(1 PM test may be added based on demand; arrive prior to 12:30 PM to pre-screen/register). Candidates may take test once a day.
