I love this shop, the only thing is, I go to the coffee area to wait for my stuff to be looked at and the owner, I am guessing, is talking on his cell phone with speaker on. I really do not care to hear his conversation, plus he is loud. This has happened a few times. I just wish he would go into his office if he is going to be on the phone.
I feel at home every visit. All the assistants are so friendly and help me load and unload with smiles. Thanks to all!

So sorry. I was unable to keep my appointment up today, due to family matter. So I’ve rescheduled for November 7,2023. I had a lot. I had a lot of coats and furniture. I’ll send in some pictures of furniture so. Tried calling, could not get through.

The ladies in the store who accept the items to sell have been exceptional. They take what they feel will sell and give back what they can't take and it's always with an explanation. They are so friendly & that means a lot. Later on, they mark each item & send a list via email to the seller. To be honest, I don't know how they do this & keep everything straight. I just wanted to give them their well-deserved praise!

Items that I consigned continue to disappear. I've been there twice to look and they have been nowhere. I've consigned here for almost 4 years and never had any trouble until last summer and issues have been continual since then. But I never said a word until a month or two ago and it's obvious they don't want to find out what's going on. They did pay me for some missing items but not all. The manager told me not to call, email or talk to anyone at the store except him. So problems continue & it's most likely time to leave unless issues are resolved. I would like to add that every time I brought in a load of items to sell, I was repeatedly told that I "always bring in great things". And over the years I calculated that I made the church over $2,600 from my donations. I know that I am not the only consignor to complain. I patiently waited months before saying anything but things just got progressively worse & I had no choice
As a consignor, I was told to trust them when marking items. However, several items disappeared (stolen) and my items that were on my list were priced shockingly low & should've been marked double or triple and they still would've been great deals. When I complained, they marked my next load so high that nothing will sell & told me I should consign elsewhere.

I brought about 20 items in to be consigned. They were accepted, but FAILED TO SHOW UP ON MY LIST. LIKEWISE, I NEVER RECEIVED MONEY FOR ANYTHING. Sounds like someone else had my items on their list instead. Very sloppy to not assign the items consigned to the right person.

I love Revive! I've been shopping and consigning here for a long time. I feel they are very customer friendly and the service is great. The intake process is efficient and easy. I am removing my rather harsh review after speaking with Simon. I do not wish to be so negative but still feel that the consignors should get more for their items. I also know that we are free to take our things somewhere else. I will continue to consign because you are the closest place and your store is such a nice place.
I feel that the manager of the in-take department is not fair when sorting items I bring in. Some clothes I bring in, I am told are pilled. I don't think she is fair with her accepting of items. I looked at clothes on the rack today and noticed dresses and tops that look that same as far as wear goes. I would like the people who check items to explain why they do not accept what I bring it. I think this is just a matter of courtesy and fairness to your customers and in the Christian way.
I feel the items are priced too low and the consignor should be paid 50% I brought in several new items with tags and received only $2 to $3 for them. I'm new to Revive and was disappointed that the store was unkept and not very clean. There is a distinct stale, musty odor when you walk into the store. This should definitely be addressed.
With that being said, the intake process was very efficient and the entire staff were very pleasant.
I hope revive reads these reviews in an effort to improve their fairness to their consignors. revive chrges a $5,00 fee to consign. They have sold five of my items and I still owe almost $3.00 on this fee. the store is run by the most wonderful volunteers so the employee cost has to be low so my question is why does Revive take 60% of the small amount charged for my items. I understand the need for low prices to have a good turn over of items but why charge a $5.00 fee and 60%. That seems greedy on Revive's part. There is a great need for a consigning store as an outlet for people to take new and almost new items to be sold in a well managed, clean store that display the selling items in a such a positive, attractive way that Revive does. Please consider that your consignors would probably gladly give the items to charity but may not be in a position to give the items away. This certainly applies to me and I'm sure many others consigning with Revive. It is hard to watch the nice items that we hopefully leave turn into pennies for us, the consignors.
I brought in NEW items and some brand name (Jones New York, Bandalino, etc) , some with tags still on and they sold for near to nothing. Very disappointed in pricing. Have canceled appointment and will donate to battered women's shelter. The staff was very helpful and friendly though!

I brought in 6 NEW items. Each was priced dramatically lower less than $5 each! I thought this store took in new and used items??? If so, the price should be reflected differently. I'm very disappointed; I cancelled two future appointments.

Courteous and quick processing. In general there are no restrictions when you have an appointment (unless it's out of season). Staff is always friendly and professional. You can expect 40% in commission on items. Can expect between $1-3 depending on brand name.
Took longer than my first visit and I had less stuff, but whatever. The lady must've been new. All and all, same experience. I don't expect to make much more than a quarter but I did manage to clean out my closet. The Woodstock location is great because whatever you don't want, just drop it off at Goodwill.
The process is pretty quick. You're in and out in a jiffy if you aren't there to stop and shop, but to process and go. They also aren't as picky, such as Platos Closet or something. You don't make much money back, however. Like, at all. Not to mention they automatically deduct $5 just for the hell of it. If you're goal is to make money, try a different approach. If you're goal is just to clean out your closet, they're great.
Choice of high-end clothing, purses and shoes. Always beautifully arranged and clean. Staff does a great job at displaying items, especially home decor. Great of furniture, clothing, handbags even designer handbags, shoes and children's clothing and shoes. The atmosphere is uplifting and friendly. Great place to shop and consign. Prices are very reasonable and all designer handbags are authenticated, so no need to worry you're buying a fake. We purchased a high quality sofa, oversized chair with ottoman at Revive for our all-season room that was pristine. It was custom made and very well priced. Check them out. You won't be disappointed!
This location of Revive does all things right. They have Christian music playing while you shop. Friendly staff that helps with bringing items in for me because I'm a senior citizen and can't maneuver the steps and carry items too! Always timely, process your items quickly and you're done in less than 30 minutes. Love they are faith-based and do a great job for the less fortunate and homeless with their Restore Store.
Staff is always nice and friendly. Appointment times help limit the wait time; however, it's hard to get an appointment - most are scheduled 2-3 weeks out. Concerned about so many reviews stating "clothes/items credited to wrong account." Now I feel I have to go back and check for my items. :( The percentage they take seems high. I'd advise that they LOWER the price of their clothes so they move quicker - it's a consignment shop and the clothes sections are always overcrowded and priced high. Love that it's faith based and working to help the community. Admire all the hard work that goes in to running the store.
I think this is a good place to consign however I don't always agree with the way the choose what clothes they will keep or decline. I have taken tops in to consign that have never been worn and they won't take them because they think they look like they have to much "wear". Seriously, I have found other tops they have on their racks for sale that look worn out, and I'm taking in new ones that have never been worn? What's wrong with that picture! I get the fact that they probably have several different people deciding what is acceptable and what isn't but they all need to get on the same page! Most of my closthes are in "like new" condition!
I have been consigning here for years. I have always had friendly interactions with the staff. They are so helpful if I need help unloading boxes of items from my car and they even help me reload it if there are things left over. I understand that they have to take higher quality items and some of my items wouldn't make it past their standards. I'm okay with this. The wonderful thing about the Revive location in Woodstock is that if I don't want those items going home to clutter up my space again. There is a Goodwill right next door that takes everything!~ I'm always pleasantly surprised about the items that Revive does take and sell. I love getting in-store credit or a check! It makes it fun and worth my time. I will continue to drop of my gently used items here, I love what this store supports. That the time to read up on the background of the store and the church that supports it. They do a great deal of help for our community and those in need.
I've been consigning with Revive for over 6 years and am very disappointed at how little the consignor makes on the nice items consigned. It's gotten almost impossible to get appointments. I will be looking for another location to consign in order to get more for my items. I appreciate Revive supports a great cause and the management and employees are absolutely delightful. However, I would really like to see the store take less of a percentage of my items.
Was very shocked to check my account and see the $$$ I'm getting for my very nice clothes. I really think they should stop being so picky or raise our % or split of what we receive from our things they sell. Also was not very happy to find out that you can only get YOUR money once a month!! I can't get an appointment for a month either. there very nice and quick to get you in and out... ill keep cosigning just because its ran by good people for a good cause.
I love Revive but it is getting more difficult to consign there. I have only been able to schedule two appointments at a time online because they only seem to have the next month available for consigning appointments. They also only go few a few items (15?) at a time so I have decided I will have consign many of my things elsewhere. I have a big family and I like to shop so each season, I trim out the items for each of us that was not worn much the season before. Today is November 2nd and I am only able to get two appointments scheduled for the next six weeks. I will end up storing winter clothing if I cannot get in a little more often to consign. For that reason, I have to find somewhere that can take more items.
But if you don't have much to consign, Revive is great! You will not make much but you also will not have to pay much for the nice clothes you buy!
