The deep tissue massage was very good. Small things could be improved such as decor, having towel ready to lie under, instructions/communication.
Lawrence and Belle were absent and it showed. No background soothing music (which they always have) and that meant I got to hear one of the therapists blowing his nose EXTENSIVELY, flushing the toilet and the hum of the air-con. My massage therapist was fine enough but was distracted by the aforementioned (?Jack) talking in Mandarin to her whilst they worked on their customers. Communication was laboured due to lack of English and I was very saddened to hear that Lawrence has returned to China, never to return. I can only hope Belle returns and restores Kneaded back to it's former glory. At this stage I won't be back until she is.

Lawrence is excellent, his deep deep tissue massage really gets rid of tight over worked muscle. Even the screaming neck muscles just under skull. I put up with pain while having massage, I walk away feeling a new person. Totally recommend Lawrence.

Kneaded offer a range of services including two distinct forms of massage. One involves laying a towel over the patient and using deep acupressure on painful areas, the other involves the use of oil.
Regarding the dry massage, this allows the practitioner to not only work on your back, but also work on your glutes, hips and legs etc. This cannot be done with oil because your pants would have to be taken off and well, lets not go down that track. This is still a deep tissue massage and can be classed as a whole body massage.
The oil massage is also a deep tissue type and can be somewhat more intense. I favor the oil massage when pain runs up from the lower back and into the neck and shoulders. Also pain in the arms such as tennis elbow.
This is merely my experience so make of this what you will.
Please people, make the most of these services. I have spent many years doing hard labor and have come to a point where I need a few months of regular treatment to rectify accrued injuries. Each session is wonderful and with each session, I get better and better. The entire experience is uplifting.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the service Kneaded provides and how grateful I am to Lawrence. Walk in feeling great pain, walk out feeling relaxed, limber and generally better all around. I know that as westerners, we often shy away from such things and western men can feel awkward having another man work on them- but Lawrence is a pro (ex air force) and it is foolish to dismiss the potential of Chinese therapy.
If you are in pain but nervous about massage, drop your misconceptions, man up and get the job done. It will be the best money you have ever spent on yourself. This is a beneficial service to our local community.
