It is a great service and very useful. I value it particularly for my languages that are difficult to practice on a daily basis.
I hugely appreciate the opportunity to practice speaking Japanese through King's Language Centre. Atsuko and the staff at KLC have been enormously helpful, and the sessions have enabled me to put new grammar and vocabulary that I am learning into practice, and to enjoy a fun conversation about all sorts of things including daily life, culture and travel. Honto ni arigatou gozaimasu!

The speaking practice sessions are extremely valuable and useful. It's wonderful to be able to practice conversation with a native speaker here on the Strand, particularly for me as a busy member of staff trying to fit in language learning among multiple other things. The language speaking practice sessions are a really great benefit for students and staff and my experience as a language learner (Japanese) has been very positive. Many thanks to Atsuko for her generous help and support. I intend to volunteer as an English language speaking partner ASAP.
I used your speaking service for the first time, and I found it quite encouraging which allowed me to continue speaking for giving explanation. Ritthigaa, the tuitor at the time, was also patient and careful to listen to me even I often paused during my responces. I am convinced that your speaking practice programme helps me improve my public speaking skill.
My Italian speaking buddy Greta is fantastic, we spoke about our goal at the beginning of the session and she was excellent in tuning into my needs and she gave me instant correction and feedback which helps me to improve. At the end, she also gave me a debriefing and encouragement, which is really helpful. She is articulate, clear and very easy to talk to. I hope to continue to use this service regularly and I believe it would be great boost to my speaking and confidence. Thank you.

It was good to practise my French with a native speaker, however, I felt a bit judged at times when I made mistakes :/
